arrived at Renewme Skin Clinic for my surgery today! I actually visited the clinic last week for a consultation and today's the day to do.......
MINI LIPOSUCTION!!!
The friendly staff from Renewme Skin Clinic took this photo for me while I was walking into the clinic! So cute hahahaha😂😂 and it turned out pretty well too huh!!
Honestly, it took alot of courage for me to go ahead with this procedure (mini liposuction). Not many knew of my decision. Not even my own family cuz I know they'll be worried and I didn't really want that to happen. Only really close friends of mine knew the main purpose of my trip to Seoul this time round.
Now that the surgery is over, it's a huge sigh of relief cuz I can finally tell my family and you all :)
Not sure if I mentioned on dayre before but I have been really conscious and sensitive of my weight gain ever since mid 2015... I tried exercising. However, my weight just wouldn't drop. I had the chance to collaborate with a well known slimming centre in SG, yes it worked but it was only for a short while. I was really sad when the weight bounced back really quickly.
And I've always been thinking about doing lipo for the LONGEST TIME. Then again, no guts and quite $$$$$$$ tbh 😭
I started being really self conscious and would opt to wear loose clothings, jackets over my cropped tops even in crazy sg weather because I really just had zero confidence 😭😭😭😭
Maybe God took pity on me and one fine day, I received an email from Renewme Skin Clinic!! Checked out their website and services they provide and omg YOU DONT KNOW HOW STOKED I AM TO KNOW THAT THEY ACTUALLY PROVIDE MINI LIPOSUCTION!!!
Googled more about mini lipo cuz it seems like it was different from the usual traditional lipo.
And it turns out that mini lipo is alot less painful and its actually good if u have specific areas u wanna target. Such as armpit fats. Or flabby arms. Or inner thighs yknow~~ its perfect for people who are a lil fat and wanna suck out the excess stubborn fats to have the ideal perfect figure u want. It is NOT recommended for people who are obese tho - should do the traditional lipo instead.
It seemed like I was a perfect match to do mini lipo since I am definitely not obese. Just a lil chubby and I wanna get rid of that excess stubborn fats - love handles, beer/food belly and omg my thighs and butt!!! I have a really heavy bottom.
There are English interpreters at Renewme Skin Clinic so that made our conversations really swift and easy to understand :) And the next thing I know, I am already in Seoul!!!😍😍 have never looked forward to a trip to Seoul this much before lol
Bye bye fats!! Was told during consultation that I would probably require around 10 bottles but turns out I actually needed 12 bottles to remove my fats 😂😂 The fat life chose me la LOL, so much to remove!!
And don't you think it kinda looks like FRUIT JUICE?! Hahahah carrot and watermelon juice LOL🤣🤣

The whole procedure took around 4hrs, a lil longer than expected cuz the initial estimated time was 3hrs!! Guess really too much fats to suck out LOL 😂😂
After I was done, I took a rest in their resting room which was really comfortable! Laid there for about an hour or so before I decided to head home~
If you're wondering where I did the procedure on, I did mini lipo on:
- Arms
- Love handles
- back of my thighs
- inner thighs
- lower & upper tummy
General anesthetia are used for traditional lipo but for MINI LIPO, LOCAL ANESTHETIA are administered. So yes, I was awake and conscious during the whole 4hours. It was a little painful but bearable. My tolerance of pain is super low so if I can do it, I guess most people would be able to too
Feeling perfectly fine!!😛 Legit no pain or ache on my arms and love handles. My legs feel a little sore so I just gotta walk at a slower pace. But my stomach was probably the most painful~~
Getting off the bed, sitting down and standing up is a little difficult at the moment cuz of the pain at the stomach area but otherwise, all's good. I could walk perfectly on my own and didn't need anyone to support me!! Well done Shenz!!!👍👍👍
Can even raise my arm to take selfie cuz really not pain at all!!! Hopefully the pain at my stomach will go away soon 😍😍😍 I really wanna go out on Fri LOL before I fly back to Seoul on sat!!!!
Back home and gonna nap!!! It's a lil difficult to fall asleep cuz I can still feel the pain at my stomach area~~ Wanna eat the medication to relieve the pain but i was told to take the medicine only after food. And I legit have no appetite right now. Sobs. Nvm just gonna try sleep it off
Dinner tonight bought to me by Ee Lim. LOL this is probably the most 清淡 soup I've ever had in my entire life!!!!!! Super no taste until I don't even know what this is supposed to be 😂😂 luckily got the onion dipping sauce so I could dip my meat in it hahahaha
Actually feeling quite safe since I have erjie with me and our 2 other housemates (Ian and Ee Lim) who are both doctors!!! LOL. Phewwww
Okay also took my medication already and feeling alot more better!! The pain in the stomach has also subsided, not sure if its getting better or if its cuz of the painkillers
So right now, I am just laying down on the bed dayre-ing about today's surgery to share with yall!!!!
Over pouring concern on IG too!! Ah friends and followers are being really sweet and supportive so far 😊😊😊. I am really glad that I made this decision on my own, for myself.
It wasn't an impulse decision since I've thought it through really long and hard. And I have also done enough research to know that it's a really safe procedure (so much safer than the traditional usual lipo). And if anything had gone wrong (choy touch wood!!!) , I've only got myself to blame and no one else.
I am really satisfied so far. Managed to take a quick glance at my tummy before they bandaged it up and omg IT LOOKS FLATTTTTTT. 😍 hahaha
I can't wait to get well and feel better soon! Hopefully I'll be able to get out of home on Fri and Sat before I fly back to sg!!😉😉
