Aladdin Peel for Acne Scars + Clear / Rejuvenated Skin: PART 2

Hey guys! You might have wondering what happened after our last Aladdin Peel blog post - I'd promised a follow up and here I am, ready to lay it out for you. The patient who was kind enough to document her results for us also gave me a detailed account of what it felt like and what she had experienced over the course of a week. So for those of you who are looking for an all natural peel that deeply exfoliates and rejuvenates the skin for a clearer and brighter face, this is what will happen!

We'll pick up where we left off, which was right after the procedure.

DAY ONE

Skin was feeling raw, super sensitive, and painful even at the slightest brush of skin. Redness and swelling is also visible.
I actually toned that down a bit. This procedure is quite painful, not going to sugar coat it too much. But as the cliche saying applies to so many things in life: no pain, no gain. It's a necessary evil to achieve flawless and beautiful skin.

DAY TWO

Skin was looking okay but still extremely painful to touch. Could not wash my face properly or apply toner or lotion because of the pain. Face was also feeling way too dry and tight, so spraying facial mist is a must.

DAY THREE

Skin is feeling super super dry, and is starting to flake around the mouth where facial movement is most frequent.

DAY FOUR

At this point, there is no particular pain when the face is touched. Skin started to flake and peel around the mouth and nose.

DAY FIVE

This is the day when the skin really started to PEEL. Photo on the left is right after cleansing so the flakes are not as visible. Photo on the right is after skin toner and moisturizer. That's right, after all the moisturizing.

It's important not to pick at the skin flakes or peel the skin off by force. Instead, try to be as gentle as possible and apply lots of moisturizer.

DAY SIX

This is the part where the face started to look human again. Most of the flakes disappear after cleansing, but some are left along the edges of the chin, as well as around the mouth and eyebrows.

Skin looks a bit glowy at this point, don't you think? :)

DAY SEVEN

After a week, the flakes are completely gone and all that's left is fresh new skin! My skin was not problematic to begin with, so there were no scars or blemishes to remove. However, the face feels much more refreshed and softer.

Here are before and after shots of the pores returning to normal. I know the light may seem a little different, but they were taken in the same spot, same camera (Samsung Galaxy S5) and with no filter whatsoever.

Hope this helps, and many thanks for sharing this experience with us! If any of you are interested in the Aladdin Peel for a fresh new reset to your skin, contact us today and book an appointment!
