However, severe acne can also leave behind scars that, unlike acne, cannot easily be treated or removed. Such acne scars are formed after inflammatory acne, due to a loss of collagen fibers and tissues. Working as a consultant at a dermatology clinic, I sometimes forget how procedures like fillers and botox can be a very new and foreign concept to a lot of people. I'm so used to watching injections and lasers that it doesn't seem like a big deal to me. To make things worse, there are a bunch of rumors as well that tend to scare patients away before they even consider it.
