Nose Fillers Before & After - Rachel Chen (Vintagedolls)

Hi, guys! Thank you for your patience for this highly-anticipated post. I know that many of you are curious about my nose after nose fillers. While many of you have already seen my new nose on Instagram, it is difficult to fathom its dramatic change without these comparisons.

First, I would like to explain why I opted for nose fillers. For many years, I have struggled with my profile view. My biggest concern was my lack of a nose bridge as well as the overall roundness of my nose. My mom often reminds me that my nose bridge used to be so nonexistent as a baby that my tears would flow between my eyes if I cried laying down (LOL). Many of my friends have even told me that my nose is a “cute button”. I was content with the frontal view of my nose and even its shape up to 50 degree angle head tilt. However, I loathed its appearance from the side. 

My areas of concern were my nose bridge and bulbous tip.

Did it hurt?

Nope, it did not hurt at all. Renewme Skin Clinic applies a gracious amount of numbing cream prior to the procedure. I did not even feel the needle piercing my skin. 

How long do results last?

Dermal nose fillers last from 6-9 months- it depends on how quickly your body metabolizes the chemicals. I definitely recommend fillers as a precursor to nose surgery. Fillers are a great alternative to see if you really like the shape before getting it permanently. 

How much does it cost?

Are there any limitations to nose fillers?

There are certain things you cannot do, but they are all short term. I was told not to wash my face for the first 24 hours because the injection areas are essentially open wounds. It is also important to not touch the injected spots. You do not want bacteria from your fingers to enter your body. Renewme provided antibiotics as well. The most difficult thing was to not wear sunglasses for 2 weeks. This is because the gel takes time to set and can be easily molded if too much pressure is applied to it. However, this issue was very easy to overlook when I thought of my beautiful nose :)
