I had mentioned in a previous blog post that the equipment used is a strong factor to consider when determining the quality of a dermatology clinic. Any dermatologist can assess a problem and explain the different possible solutions for the skin. However, without the tools, doctors cannot treat their patients properly. A large part of skin treatments rely heavily on the equipment, which is why at Renewme Skin Clinic we make sure that every branch has the same number of high-quality machines, tested and carefully selected through years of clinical experience. There are too many to list everything on this post today, but I would like to introduce perhaps the most common and popular ones, to give you an idea of the scope of treatments provided.
Excimer Laser
Excimer laser is one of the best options available for treating difficult medical disorders such as vitiligo, psoriasis, and atopic dermatitis. This equipment is usually used in large general hospitals or university hospitals. However, even as a local clinic, we have chosen to incorporate this treatment because we believe excimer laser therapy should be more accessible and affordable for everyone.
Derma Shine
Derma Shine is a multi-needle injector that can distribute any solution evenly across the skin. Most commonly used is hyaluronic acid, which can moisturize the skin and improve fine lines, leaving the skin smoother and dewy.
Vitamin C Injector
This procedure is also known as iontophoresis, which uses electric pulses to deliver vitamins and nutrients into the skin. It is a great soothing treatment as well as skin brightening treatment.
AquaPeel
This is an aesthetics equipment used for exfoliation and moisturizing. 3 different solutions are used to remove impurities from the skin and distribute nutrients. Click here for a full detailed post on AquaPeel.
Narrowband UVB
This equipment is also an ultraviolet therapy used for treating skin disorders like vitiligo/psoriasis etc. The radiations used for this machine are very specific and mostly in the therapeutic range, which can minimize side effects on healthy skin cells.
SP LITE
This is a CO2 (carbon dioxide) laser used for skin resurfacing and removing raised skin lesions such as moles and warts. It is one of the latest CO2 lasers in the market which can prevent damage to surrounding skin tissues.
Multi-Xel
MultiXel lasers operate deep within the skin, creating a tiny hole to penetrate the corium, expediting the formation of collagen and elastic fibers to maximize treatment effects.
These lasers are best used for treating ice pick scars, wide pores, and uneven skin tones (including discoloration), and also help improve fine wrinkles around the eyes and mouth.
IPL (Intense Pulsed Light)
IPL treatment consists of a combination of wavelengths that can effectively treat pigmentation and help with skin rejuvenation. It has little downtime and is approved by the FDA. Learn more by clicking here.
eCO2
eCO2 by Lutronic is a fractional ablative laser used for skin resurfacing, treating scars, wrinkles, pigmentation, tightening, etc. It incorporates patented CCT technology to maximize effects and minimize downtime.
Arneb Laser
Arneb Laser is an upgrade from the previous single RF, single laser, IR light, RF+laser combination, and RF+light combination - an excellent face lifting equipment for fine wrinkles, pore contraction, tone and elasticity improvement, and acne treatment.
By adding the pneumatic system to the existing high-frequency diode laser compound method, the Arneb keeps energy from unnecessarily moving and instead concentrates in on the exact target, reducing side effects and increasing treatment effects. Learn more.
Mosaic Laser
Mosaic by Lutronic is a non-ablative fractional mid-infrared laser made with patented technology, and is the most common treatment used for acne scars and pore reduction. It maximizes efficiency and patient satisfaction while reducing downtime and/or side effects.
AccuSculpt
AccuSculpt by Lutronic is a facial contouring device used for laser lipolysis. This allows for a minimally invasive procedure that helps remodel collagen and tighten the skin in a variety of areas, including cheeks/chin, arms, loose skin, etc. A single session is all you need to see great results. Learn more.
INNOfill
INNOfill incorporates a patented needle in which high frequencies are emitted only from the point of the needle, injecting into and below the corium to directly deliver the high-frequency energy. A highly advanced technology, the INNOfill is used for acne scars, skin rejuvenation, elasticity improvement, facial lifting effects, and for maintaining the volume and sustainability of the filler.
Thermage CPT
Thermage is a non-invasive radiofrequency therapy that uses thermal energy to regenerate collagen for younger looking skin. There is hardly any downtime, and treatment is only required about once every year or two, making it the optimal procedure for subtle anti-aging.
Ulthera
Ultherapy is the only non-invasive procedure FDA-cleared to lift skin on the neck, under the chin and on the eyebrow. Also clinically proven to improve the appearance of lines and wrinkles on the décolletage, Ultherapy can help you achieve a fresher, more youthful look from your brow to your chest!
Spectra XT Laser
SPECTRA XT is the latest new cutting-edge device from Lutronic. It is called “The Extended Platform” because of its widely-extended clinical indications and applications as compared to previous similar devices currently on the market. In particular, its newly extended treatments, namely “Gold Toning” with 595 nm, “RuVY Touch” with 660 nm and “Revital Treatment” with 1064 nm quasi-long pulse (Max. 45 J / sec), offer more treatment choices to both doctors and patients, without the need to invest in additional devices separately.
Cellec
Using light rays from 8 different filters, the Cellec is used to treat skin conditions of all color, contrary to conventional IPL technology which could only respond to white skin. Effective for pigmented lesions.
Excel V
The Cutera Excel V laser includes three treatment modes that enable physicians to treat more vascular conditions, from small superficial vessels to large vascular lesions.
It's important to remember: these are not the only treatments offered at our clinic. But hopefully by now you can understand that at Renewme Skin Clinic you would be able to receive treatment for most concerns you have for your skin, whether it be for medical or aesthetic reasons. What's more, our doctors have years of experience in using all of these machines, and can utilize it to achieve the best results possible. So don't hesitate; contact us today for consultation!
