All patients who come to our clinic for consultation naturally look for treatments and procedures that last for as long as possible. It's only fair to want the most effects from the money you spend. Now, price is not always necessarily correlated to duration of effects, but generally that just so happens to be the case. This will normally leave you in a dilemma of whether you should save the extra dollar (or won, in our case) and opt for something effective but short-lived, or make an investment on your face in the long run. If you're the type of person that wants and can afford both, you might be interested in this treatment combo:
Ultherapy is an FDA approved treatment that has been proven for its non-invasive face lifting effects. The equipment uses ultrasound to deliver energy deeper into the skin than conventional RF lasers, stimulating collagen regeneration gradually over time. This treatment has no downtime, so patients can go about their daily routines as usual.
Ultherapy is recommended for patients with aging, sagging skin, who want a boost but are against any surgical measures. The effects are obviously much slower and less drastic as a surgical facelift, but it's a great option if you are looking for subtle anti-aging treatments. Effects last for up to two years, so most patients receive treatment approximately once a year for maintenance.
The only downside to Ultherapy, if any, is that the effects are gradual and will appear over the course of 2-3 months. It's easy to feel like nothing much has changed immediately after treatment. That is why we recommend you combine this with Dermotoxin.
Dermotoxin is a series of injections of diluted botox solution. Unlike traditional botox injections, which target muscle layers that cause dynamic wrinkles (wrinkles caused by dynamic facial movements such as laughing or frowning), Dermotoxin is injected into the skin layer, to treat fine lines and give a temporary lifting effect. Unlike Ultherapy, Dermotoxin (like botox) is a temporary treatment, the effects of which will fade after a few months.
If you're quick, you might have already understood why we would recommend these two procedures together: the effects of the Dermotoxin are quick but short-lived. By the time the effects wear off, that's when the Ultherapy starts to kick in, to maintain the same effects for the remaining year or so. Each treatment makes up for what the other lacks, which is why it's best if you can do both!
