Lutronic is out with a new treatment for melasma, pigmentation, elasticity, and skin brightening. This new equipment is called LASEMD, which combines the effects of a fractional laser with a purified vitamin ampoule designed for different skin types. Lasemd is a so-called "skin incubating" program in which the fractional laser paves the path for the vitamin solution to be directly distributed across the deep layers of the dermis.
There are three different ampoules used for Lasemd to choose from; this will be decided by the dermatologist after consultation. Here is a general idea of what to expect from the procedure:
A brand new ampoule is opened for each procedure to keep the solution as fresh and pure as possible. The bottle is inserted into the machine from which the hand-piece directly distributes it into the skin along with the laser treatment.
Patients might feel a mild prickling sensation; for sensitive people perhaps a bit of pain. The intensity of the laser is not too strong as to leave the face burning and red, and a few days later the skin will feel smoother and more rejuvenated.
What's more, patients can take home the leftover ampoule solution and use it over the next few weeks for self-maintenance. Since there are no preservatives in the solution, it must be used within a month before it changes. Self-maintenance allows effects of the treatment to last longer than most other procedures!
There aren't any concrete testimonials for this treatment yet since it was just released, but the responses so far have been very positive. We are looking forward to what results Lasemd can bring for patients looking for affordable anti-aging procedures!
