Arneb Laser for Fine Lines, Elasticity, and Pores | Seoul, Korea

Many times, patients visit our dermatology clinic with extremely vague and general questions such as "I want laser treatment for my skin," or "What procedures will make me look younger?"

This is quite understandable if you have never been to a dermatology clinic before. If you're reading this and think this applies to you, here's a tip: be specific with your questions and research procedures beforehand to make consultation easier for both yourself and for the doctor. Of course, if you're reading this post at all, that would probably mean you are in fact doing your research, in which case you're doing a great job. :D

How can you be specific with your concerns? Well, it would ultimately be up to the doctor to determine exactly which factors are causing you to look older, or tired, or less attractive (in your eyes). However, treating every little factor would be quite costly and time consuming, and realistically not possible. So prioritize your concerns and let the doctor know what is bothering you, by asking questions like "how can I treat these lines around my eyes?" or "Are there any treatments that can keep my skin moisturized?" or "Would any lifting procedures help with the sagging skin around my jawline?" These are obviously just a few examples out of the gazillion you could be asking, but hopefully you know what I mean.

As for treatments, and specifically lasers, since that's one of the first things you might think of when you hear "skin clinic," there are countless types of equipment that are meant to treat different skin conditions. It's not a one-laser-treats-all kind of thing, meaning that lasers are not the solution to every single skin problem. It certainly is one of the most advanced treatments offered at a dermatology clinic, but the results are probably not as miraculous or dramatic as you would expect. Therefore, you should make sure to thoroughly consult your doctor about how much improvement to expect, the downtime, post-procedural tips and such.

That being all said, if you still have no idea what you really want, and are looking for just a general laser treatment for cosmetic purposes, that can improve your general skin condition and make it a bit firmer, we might recommend Arneb laser.

Arneb Laser is a treatment that combines conventional lasers with radio-frequency therapy. It is an excellent face lifting equipment for fine wrinkles, pore contraction, tone and elasticity improvement, and acne treatment. By adding the pneumatic system to the existing high-frequency diode laser compound method, the Arneb laser keeps energy from unnecessarily being wasted and instead concentrates in on the exact target, reducing side effects and increasing treatment effects. Here's a video that might help you understand the principles behind Arneb:

One of the Arneb laser's greatest advantages is that there is no downtime. Patients can go about their daily activities as if nothing happened, and with numbing cream applied beforehand, the treatment itself is not painful either. With one session, you will feel your skin a bit tighter and most elastic, though of course, the visible effects may not be so dramatic. All skin treatments normally require multiple sessions for gradual improvement, and most lasers are no exception. If you want to heighten the effects for generally better skin condition, you can combine Arneb laser with the PRP DermaShine (hyaluronic acid) injection, which is offered at our clinic as a one-time package, a popular choice for people who are just visiting Korea and don't have the time for regular visits to our clinic.
