Shurink (Ultraformer 3) HIFU for Non-Invasive Lifting

Dr. Ko Na Young of our Hwagok branch wrote a blog post a few months back when she tried Shurink on her mother. Seven weeks later she compared the photos to share with all of y'all, so you can see realistic examples of what kind of results to expect from Shurink.

Shurink, or any HIFU treatment, uses ultrasound energy to cause thermal-coagulation in the deep layers of the skin known as the SMAS. This in turn results in regenerated collagen and improved skin elasticity. Collagen regeneration usually takes about 90 days, which means best results show after about 2-3 months. Shurink can be applied to most aging areas of the face, including double chin, jawline, cheeks, nasolabial folds, sagging eyelids, fine lines, and more.

Before the procedure, Dr. Ko's mother still looks lovely and young for her age, but you can see that her upper cheeks are dimpled (known as the Indian band in Korea) and deeper lines from the nose to mouth (nasolabial fold).
