How to Treat Stretch Marks in Seoul, Korea

Stretch marks can affect you aesthetically, socially, and even emotionally. They are caused by a variety of factors, such as rapid weight-gain, pregnancy, Cushing's syndrome, tuberculosis, and more; and are formed when collagen in the dermis become damaged and elastic fibers denatured. Stretch marks can be difficult to treat on your own, and requires persistence and patience for satisfactory results. It's recommended to start treatment as early as possible while the stretch marks are still red - once they turn white they become even more difficult to treat. Consult a dermatologist to find the best procedure for you, but here are a few lasers we offer at Renewme Skin Clinic.

1. AccuSculpt Laser
AccuSculpt is used mostly for sagging stretch marks. A thin 1 mm cannula tube is inserted, from which the laser beam is emitted into the deep layers of the skin to generate collagen production, recovering elasticity and rejuvenating the skin. Good results can be seen with one session.

2. Excimer Laser
The second generation excimer laser (380 nm) by PHAROS is used mostly on white stretch marks, triggering and increasing melanin cells to restore skin color. Treatment is recommended once or twice a week for about three months for best results.

3. Fractional Laser/MTS
Fractional lasers such as Mosaic or Multi-Cell make artificial wounds in the skin, severing all the irregular and tangled collagen formations and jumpstarting the skin's natural response to recover and regenerate collagen. Treatment is recommended once a month for about 3-5 months.

4. Laser Toning
This laser is used mostly on dark and pigmented stretch marks. Laser wavelengths of 1064 nm target dark pigmented cells and increase collagen production, improving skin tone and elasticity. Treatment is recommended once a week for about 5 weeks.

5. IPL
Intensed Pulsed Light is used on red stretch marks to treat pigmentation and vascular conditions (redness). Treatment is recommended once a month for 3-5 months.

The energy will only be transferred to the target area, thus an effective and safe treatment is possible. Is V Beam Prima Safe?
